Troop 939 - Cypress, TX

Troop 939 is a traditional boy lead Scout BSA troop chartered by the Rotary Club of Cypress-Fairbanks located in the Big-Cypress District.

 

Big-Cypress District

The Big Cypress District serves Scouting units in the northwest area of the Cy-Fair ISD attendance zones of Harris County, including Cypress, Bridgeland and Fairfield. The Big Cypress District is located in the Sam Houston Area Council.

Sam Houston Area Council

The Sam Houston Area Council serves approximately 50,000 youth in 16 counties in southeast Texas through dedicated service and leadership of over 19,000 adult volunteers. Scouting is completely funded by the generosity of those that believe in its mission.

The purpose of the council is to guide and support its districts for the achievement of the movement’s purpose. Councils establish policies and programs. Districts carry out the policies and programs in their respective territories. Your support of Scouting provides programs, services, professional support, as well as year-round outdoor programs - all designed to lead youth to lifelong values, service, and achievement.
